Verhaal

Hier en daar in de klas

1. Vandaag is Sanne in de klas van juf Eva.

   Today Sanne is in Ms. Eva's class.

2. Ze wil een grote wereldpuzzel maken voor aan het einde van de dag.

   She wants to make a big world puzzle for the end of the day.

3. Er is een grote tafel in de hoek.

   There is a big table in the corner.

4. Hier op de tafel ligt de puzzeldoos en Tom helpt haar.

   The puzzle box is on the table and Tom helps her.

5. Daar bij het raam schijnt de zon zacht.

   The sun is shining softly by the window.

6. Sanne opent de doos en ziet stukjes, maar één deel is weg.

   Sanne opens the box and sees pieces, but one part is missing.

7. "Waar is het stukje?" vraagt Tom.

   "Where is the little piece?" Tom asks.

8. "We kunnen het vinden," zegt Sanne, en ze zoekt.

   "We can find it," Sanne says, and she looks for it.

9. Ze kijkt op de tafel, onder de kast, en naast de stoel, maar ze ziet het niet.

   She looks on the table, under the cupboard, and next to the chair, but she doesn't see it.

10. Juf Eva komt en glimlacht.

    Teacher Eva comes and smiles.

11. "Kijk goed naar het licht," zegt ze, want het witte stukje kan glanzen.

    "Look carefully at the light," she says, because the little white spot can shine.

12. Sanne staat stil en kijkt, en het zonlicht valt door het raam.

    Sanne stands still and watches, and sunlight falls through the window.

13. Daar, op de vloer bij het bord, ligt het stukje, heel klein.

    There, on the floor by the board, is the little piece.

14. Tom wijst en Sanne pakt het snel en zacht.

    Tom points and Sanne picks it up quickly and gently.

15. Ze zetten samen het laatste stukje in de puzzel, en het plaatje is heel mooi en rond.

    They put the last piece in the puzzle together, and the picture is very nice and round.

16. Aan het einde van de dag is iedereen rustig, en Sanne fluistert: "Wij zijn hier samen."

    At the end of the day everyone is calm, and Sanne whispers, "We are here together."
