Emmas Stadtplan am Abend

1. Es ist Abend, und Emma sitzt im Kinderzimmer auf dem Teppich.

   It's evening, and Emma is sitting on the carpet in the children's room.

2. Papa und ihr kleiner Bruder Ben sind bei ihr, und sie wollen heute eine kleine Stadt bauen.

   Dad and her little brother Ben are with her, and they want to build a small town today.

3. Emma zeichnet einen Plan für die Fahrt des Holzzugs.

   Emma draws a plan for the wood train's trip.

4. Ben schreibt auf ein Schild "railway-station" für den Bahnhof.

   Ben writes "railway-station" on a sign for the train station.

5. Emma malt ein kleines Café und klebt das Schild "cafe/café" daneben.

   Emma paints a small café and sticks the sign "cafe/café" next to it.

6. Papa zeichnet ein rundes Stadion und schreibt "stadium" auf die Pappe.

   Dad draws a round stadium and writes "stadium" on the cardboard.

7. In die Mitte des Plans schreibt Emma "city-centre".

   Emma writes "city-centre" in the middle of the map.

8. Am Rand macht Ben ein kleines Dorf mit dem Schild "village".

   At the edge Ben makes a small village with the sign "village".

9. Neben dem Dorf klebt er eine kleine Papp-Garage und schreibt "garage" darauf.

   Next to the village he glues a small cardboard garage and writes "garage" on it.

10. Sie malen Zelte und nennen die Wiese "campsite".

    They draw tents and call the meadow 'campsite'.

11. Daneben bleibt ein freier Bereich, den sie "area" nennen.

12. Für die bunten Lichter schreiben sie "festival" auf ein kleines Fähnchen.

17. Emma findet das alte Schild unter dem Kissen, und sie lachen flüsternd.

    Emma finds the old sign under the cushion, and they laugh quietly.

18. Der Zug rollt langsam durch ihre kleine Stadt, hält am Bahnhof, beim Café, im Stadion, im Zentrum und im Dorf, und Emma wird müde und glücklich.

    The train rolls slowly through their small town, stops at the station, at the café, at the stadium, downtown and the village, and Emma becomes tired and happy.
