Ein ruhiger Abend bei Jonas

1. Jonas wohnt mit Mama Anna und seiner Schwester Mia in einer kleinen, hellen Wohnung.

   Jonas lives with his mom Anna and his sister Mia in a small, bright apartment.

2. Heute will Jonas einen besonders gemütlichen Abend mit der Familie machen.

   Today Jonas wants to have a especially cozy evening with the family.

3. Zuerst trägt Jonas den Müll zur Tür.

   First Jonas carries the trash to the door.

4. Mama spült, und Jonas hilft ihr abwaschen, damit das Geschirr sauber ist.

   Mom washes up, and Jonas helps her wash so the dishes are clean.

5. Durch das offene Fenster hört Jonas dem Regen zu.

   Through the open window Jonas listens to the rain.

6. "Wir gehen morgen zusammen einkaufen, wenn es nicht so nass ist", sagt Mama.

   "We'll go shopping together tomorrow if it's not so wet," says Mom.

7. In dem Poststapel auf dem Tisch liegt ein Zettel; darauf steht "zu verkaufen".

   In the pile of mail on the table there is a note; it says "for sale."

8. "Das Kissen bestellen wir per Post, weil es draußen stark regnet."

   "We'll order the cushion by mail because it's raining heavily outside."

9. Jonas räumt die Bücher weg und legt weiche Decken aufs Sofa.

   Jonas puts the books away and lays soft blankets on the sofa.

10. Er zeigt Mia den Flur und sagt: "Geh geradeaus zum Bad."
