Hij staat in de keukenkast. Ik heb hem net afgewassen en weggezet om te drogen.

It is in the kitchen cupboard. I just washed it and put it away to dry.

De woestijnomgeving is in de loop van de tijd veranderd. Klimaatverandering is overal zichtbaar, zelfs in afgelegen gebieden.

The desert environment has changed over time. Climate change is visible everywhere, even in remote areas.

Klopt. Ik heb gelezen over vermindering van vervuiling in de stad. Dingen verbeteren langzaam.

Right. I've read about reductions in pollution in the city. Things are slowly getting better.

Langzaam is beter dan helemaal niet. Ben je thuis meer gaan recyclen?

Doing it slowly is better than not doing it at all. Have you started recycling more at home?

Ja, ik scheid nu alles zorgvuldig. De nieuwe glasbak bij ons gebouw is heel handig.

Yes, I now sort everything carefully. The new glass recycling bin by our building is very handy.

Ik heb er ook over gedacht tweedehands meubels te kopen in plaats van nieuwe. Het is goedkoper en duurzamer.

I also thought about buying used furniture instead of new. It's cheaper and more sustainable.

I might go there this Saturday. A nice armchair for my living room would be perfect.
