He painted his bedroom a soft pink for a calming effect. The painter said that it makes the room look bigger.

Dat is een slimme keuze. Ik denk erover om mijn woonkamer in groen en goud opnieuw te doen.

That's a smart choice. I'm thinking of doing my living room in green and gold.

Die kleuren werken goed samen. Als ik jou was, zou ik er ook bruine kussens aan toevoegen voor warmte.

Those colors work well together. If I were you, I'd also add brown cushions for warmth.

Goed idee. Het tapijt moet ook vervangen worden. Misschien iets in een donkerdere tint.

Good idea. The carpet should be replaced too. Maybe something in a darker shade.

Een zwart of donkergrijs tapijt zou modern staan. Het zou ook vlekken beter verbergen.

A black or dark grey carpet would look modern. It would also hide stains better.

Klopt. Ik heb altijd al gehouden van hoe een kleine kleurverandering een flat compleet nieuw kan laten voelen.

Precies. Zelfs één muur paars schilderen zou een prachtig aandachtspunt creëren.

Exactly. Even painting just one wall purple would create a beautiful focal point.
