Kar Gecesinde Sakin Oyunlar

1. Mert, dağ evinin oturma odasında pencereden karı ve camdaki ince buzu izliyor.

   In the mountain house living room, Mert watches the snow and the thin ice on the window.

2. “Yarın ne yapacağız?” diye fısıldıyor.

   "What will we do tomorrow?" she whispers.

3. O, dışarıda kayak yapmak istiyor ama hava soğuk olabilir.

   They want to ski outside, but the weather might be cold.

4. Elif, sıcak süt ile bisküvileri getiriyor ve anne Zeynep gülümseyip battaniyeyi düzeltiyor.

   Elif brings hot milk and biscuits, and her mother Zeynep smiles and straightens the blanket.

5. “İstersen biraz pop müzik açarız,” diyor anne yumuşak sesle.

   "If you want, we can play some pop music," Mom says in a soft voice.

6. “Ben hip-hop da severim,” diyor Elif, “ama sonra klasik müzik dinleyip sakinleşelim.”

   "I also like hip-hop," Elif says, "but then let's listen to classical music and relax."

7. Az önce rüzgâr biraz güçlendi ve pencere hafifçe uğuldadı.

   Just now the wind got a bit stronger and the window hummed softly.

   They dim the light, and when they turn the small lamp the room feels like a little disco.

    Then Mert takes the chess pieces out of the box and arranges them on the board.

    Mert just wants to climb a mountain in his imagination and draws the path in the air with his fingers.

    Then they take a deep breath together and sit quietly on the couch.

16. “Yarın hava iyi olursa dışarı bakacağız ve karar vereceğiz,” diyor anne.

    "If the weather is good tomorrow, we'll check outside and decide," Mom says.

17. “Kar güvenliyse yokuşta kayarız, değilse evde dans ederiz ve oyun oynarız,” diyor Mert.

    "If the snow is safe, we'll sled on the hill; if not, we'll dance and play games at home," Mert says.

18. Üçü de battaniyeyi paylaşarak gözlerini kapatıyor ve sıcak odada huzurla uykuya dalıyor.

    The three share a blanket, close their eyes, and fall asleep peacefully in the warm room.
