Salonda Bir Arama

  1. Bugün güzel bir gün.

    Today is a nice day.

  2. Mehmet, Elif ve anneleri Ayşe akşamı evde salonda geçirir.

    Mehmet, Elif and their mother Ayşe spend the evening at home in the living room.

  3. Duvarda yuvarlak bir saat var.

    There is a round clock on the wall.

  4. Saat sekiz, uyku vakti yaklaşır.

    It's eight o'clock; bedtime is approaching.

  5. Mehmet, "Babaanneyi aramak istiyorum," der ve telefonu alır.

    Mehmet says, "I want to call grandma," and picks up the phone.

  6. Ama telefon numarasını unutur ve "Numara nerede" diye sorar.

    But she forgets the phone number and asks, 'Where is the number?'

    The phone rings, Grandma answers, Mehmet brings his mouth close to the phone and says 'Good night!'

    Grandma speaks in a sweet voice and the children smile.

  16. Mehmet, "Yarın yine arayalım," der ve lamba kapanır.

    Mehmet says, "Let's call again tomorrow," and the light goes out.
