Hoch zum leisen Licht

1. Mia steht am Abend im Hinterhof unter dem Apfelbaum und ist ganz bereit für ein gemütliches Picknick im Baumhaus.

   In the evening Mia stands in the backyard under the apple tree and is ready for a cozy picnic in the treehouse.

2. Sie läuft schnell zur kleinen Leiter, denn sie will das Baumhaus schmücken.

   She runs quickly to the small ladder because she wants to decorate the treehouse.

3. Papa Jonas lächelt und sagt ruhig, dass heute alles friedlich wird.

   Dad Jonas smiles and says calmly that everything will be peaceful today.

4. Der Korb ist groß und voller Kissen, Becher und einer Laterne.

   The basket is big and full of cushions, cups, and a lantern.

5. Er ist schwer, also bittet Mia ihren Papa um Hilfe.

   It's heavy, so Mia asks her dad for help.

6. Es ist hart, ihn allein zu tragen, sagt Mia und atmet tief aus.

   It's hard to carry him alone, says Mia, and she breathes out deeply.
