Lichter im ruhigen Garten

1. Es ist Abend im Garten, und Paul hat eine gute Idee.

   It is evening in the garden, and Paul has a good idea.

2. Er möchte für seine Schwester Mia einen Weg aus Lichtern bauen.

   He wants to build a path of lights for his sister Mia.

3. Ich mache ihr heute Mut, denkt Paul.

   I'll cheer her on today, thinks Paul.

4. Er stellt Gläser auf den Weg und hat kleine Sterne daraus gemacht.

   He sets glasses on the path and has made little stars out of them.

5. Alles ist ruhig im Garten, und die Luft duftet nach Minze.

   Everything is calm in the garden, and the air smells of mint.

6. Die Blumen sehen hübsch aus im sanften Licht.

   The flowers look pretty in the soft light.

7. Mia kommt dazu und wirkt ein bisschen unsicher, aber Paul lächelt freundlich.

   Mia joins them and seems a little unsure, but Paul smiles kindly.

   He says, "I love you."
