Nach Geschäftsschluss im kleinen Salon

1. Es ist Abend im kleinen Friseursalon von Tante Lea.

   It is evening in Aunt Lea's small hair salon.

2. Heute ist der Laden schon geschlossen.

   The shop is already closed today.

3. Mara bleibt mit ihrer Tante im Salon, sie sind ganz allein und alles ist ruhig.

   Mara stays with her aunt in the salon; they are all alone and everything is quiet.

4. Mara will Lea helfen, alles für morgen sauber zu machen.

   Mara wants to help Lea clean everything for tomorrow.

5. Der Salon hat einen modernen Spiegel, der morgen glänzen soll.

   The salon has a modern mirror that should shine tomorrow.

6. Sie holt einen weichen Lappen und einen milden Reiniger.

   She gets a soft cloth and a mild cleaner.

7. Mara wischt vorsichtig um die Steckdosen, damit alles sicher bleibt.

   Mara gently wipes around the sockets so everything stays safe.

8. Unter dem großen Stuhl findet sie einen Kamm und lacht leise.

   Under the big chair she finds a comb and giggles softly.

9. Sie gibt ihrer Tante den Kamm zurück.

   She gives her aunt back the comb.

10. Dann räumt Mara die Bürsten und Flaschen auf.

    Then Mara tidies up the brushes and bottles.

11. Sie legt die Handtücher ordentlich zusammen.

    She folds the towels neatly.

12. Der große Friseurstuhl wackelt, also müssen sie ihn ein Stück bewegen.

    The big barber chair is wobbly, so they have to move it a little.

13. Sie schieben ihn langsam, weil der Boden an einer Stelle noch nass ist.

    They push it slowly because one spot on the floor is still wet.

14. Dabei fällt eine kleine Schraube, und der Hebel klemmt.

    A small screw falls off and the lever sticks.

15. Lea sagt freundlich: Wir reparieren das gleich.

    Lea says kindly, "We'll fix that right away."

16. Sie holt das Werkzeug aus der Schublade, und Mara hält die Lampe über den Sitz.

    Lea tightens the screw, and the chair stands straight and safe again.

    Mara puts the comb and the scissors on the table.

19. Dann kehren sie die letzten Haare zusammen, und der Boden wird ganz still und klar.

    Then they sweep up the last hairs and the floor becomes very quiet and clean.

20. Mara lächelt, weil jetzt alles vorbereitet ist und morgen gut beginnen kann.

    Mara smiles because everything is ready now and tomorrow can start well.

21. Zum Schluss hängt sie das Schild an die Tür und flüstert: "Gute Nacht, kleiner Salon."

    At the end she hangs the sign on the door and whispers, "Good night, little salon."
