   What were you doing at the concert last night? I thought I saw you near the stage.

2. Sofía
   Estaba viendo a la orquesta ensayar antes de la actuación principal. El músico de la guitarra era increíble.

   I was watching the orchestra rehearse before the main performance. The guitar player was amazing.

3. Carlos
   Él lleva actuando desde los doce años. Si no se hubiera unido a esa banda, nunca se habría convertido en guitarrista.

   He has been acting since he was twelve. If he hadn't joined that band, he would never have become a guitarist.

4. Sofía
   Me encanta cómo el baile y la música se unen en el teatro moderno. La bailarina que abrió el espectáculo estaba actuando de manera hermosa.

   I love how dance and music come together in modern theater. The dancer who opened the show was performing beautifully.

5. Carlos
   Estudió ballet en París, según oí. El director dijo a los reporteros que ella lleva entrenando durante diez años.

   She studied ballet in Paris, I heard. The director told reporters that she has been training for ten years.

6. Sofía
   Ese tipo de dedicación es raro. La mayoría de los artistas que conozco lucha por encontrar tiempo para una práctica seria.

   That kind of dedication is rare. Most of the artists I know struggle to find time for serious practice.

7. Carlos
   Quizá vuelva a intentar las clases de dibujo. Solía dibujar cada fin de semana.

   Maybe I'll try drawing classes again. I used to draw every weekend.

8. Sofía
   ¡Deberías! Incluso un pintor modesto de nuestra comunidad podría participar en la exposición local el próximo mes.

   You should! Even a modest painter from our community could take part in the local exhibition next month.

9. Carlos
   Suena como una idea fantástica. ¿Ha anunciado la galería quién juzgará las obras?

   Sounds like a fantastic idea. Has the gallery announced who will judge the artworks?

10. Sofía
    Un artista famoso de Londres. Él dijo en una entrevista que quiere trabajo original, nada típico.

    A famous artist from London. He said in an interview that he wants original work, nothing typical.

11. Carlos
    Entonces más vale que empiece ya. ¿Quieres venir al estudio conmigo este sábado?

    So you'd better start now. Do you want to come to the studio with me this Saturday?

12. Sofía
    Por supuesto. Llevo siglos esperando ver tu arte.

    Of course. I've been waiting ages to see your art.
