   Yes, it saved a lot of time. The team that built it worked all night for weeks.

   También se está construyendo un nuevo edificio cerca de la fábrica. La expansión parece estar funcionando.

   A new building is also being built near the factory. The expansion seems to be going well.

5. Carlos
   Oí que el jefe mencionó contratar veinte trabajadores más el próximo mes. El empleo en esta industria ha ido subiendo.

   I heard the boss mentioned hiring twenty more workers next month. Employment in this industry has been going up.

   Si contratan más personal, la oficina se pondrá muy llena. Quizá debamos pedir una sala de reuniones más grande.

   If they hire more staff, the office will get very crowded. Maybe we should ask for a larger meeting room.

   Buena idea. El arquitecto que diseñó el ala nueva debería añadir algo de espacio extra para nosotros.

   Good idea. The architect who designed the new wing should add some extra space for us.

   ¿Ha confirmado el ingeniero el calendario? Detestaría que la construcción retrasara nuestro proyecto.

   Has the engineer confirmed the schedule? I would hate for the construction to delay our project.

   Ella dijo que estará listo para noviembre. El edificio está siendo inspeccionado por oficiales de seguridad esta semana.

   She said it will be ready by November. The building is being inspected by security officers this week.

10. Sofía
    Eso es tranquilizador. Espero que también mejoren la cafetería. Nuestro comedor actual es demasiado pequeño.

    That's reassuring. I hope they also improve the cafeteria. Our current dining hall is too small.

11. Carlos
    Lo mencionaré al director en la próxima conferencia. Suele escuchar las opiniones.

    I'll mention it to the director at the next meeting. He usually listens to people's opinions.
