Précisément. Toute action entraîne une réaction proportionnelle, parfois même disproportionnée. Néanmoins, beaucoup de gens continuent d'agir comme si les conséquences ne les concernaient pas.

Le directeur m'a confié qu'il pourrait démissionner si les conditions ne s'améliorent pas rapidement. Cette menace illustre la gravité de la situation actuelle.

Sa réaction me semble proportionnée à l'urgence. Bien que radicale, sa position pourrait obliger les autres décideurs à prendre enfin leurs responsabilités.

Pour que les choses bougent, il faut parfois provoquer un électrochoc. Sinon, l'inertie s'installe et plus personne n'ose remettre en cause le système.

To get things moving, sometimes you need a wake-up call. Otherwise inertia sets in and no one dares to challenge the system anymore.

Cependant, agir sans réfléchir comporte aussi des risques. Une réaction trop brutale peut détruire des années de travail patient et constructif.

C'est pourquoi je préconise un équilibre entre fermeté et nuance. Néanmoins, ne rien faire serait, à long terme, la pire des décisions possibles.
