C'est exact, mais le coach m'a rapporté que plusieurs joueurs avaient déjà subi des blessures importantes avant la rencontre. Il a dit que ces douleurs avaient beaucoup nui à leur performance.

That's true, but the coach told me that several players had already suffered serious injuries before the match. He said those injuries had greatly affected their performance.

J'aurais voulu qu'on remplace les titulaires fatigués plus tôt. Bien que les remplaçants soient moins expérimentés, ils auraient sans doute évité ce revers cuisant.

I would have liked us to replace the tired office-holders sooner. Although the replacements are less experienced, they probably would have avoided this bitter setback.

Cela montre l'ampleur du désarroi actuel. Pour que l'équipe rebondisse, il faudrait qu'on adopte une stratégie radicalement différente dès le prochain mois.

Néanmoins, certains supporters estiment qu'un changement brutal serait néfaste. Selon eux, la patience reste la meilleure réponse face à ces difficultés répétées.

Je ne partage pas cet avis. Si nous attendons encore, les jeunes talents iront chercher ailleurs un environnement plus favorable à leur développement.

Toutefois, sans objectifs clairs, rien ne progresse vraiment. Bien que je reconnaisse la rigueur de cette approche, je crains qu'elle ne brise le moral du groupe.

Le défi le plus important reste psychologique. Tant que les joueurs n'auront pas retrouvé leur confiance, aucun système tactique ne suffira à inverser la tendance.

Espérons-le sincèrement. Cependant, je préfère rester réaliste : surmonter de tels obstacles demandera du temps, du courage et beaucoup de remises en question.
