This is the apartment that was built last year. The bathroom is huge and very modern.

Heb je ooit in een eenpersoonskamer in een hotel verbleven? Ze zijn meestal vrij klein.

Have you ever stayed in a single room in a hotel? They are usually quite small.

Ja, vorige zomer in Parijs. De receptie zei dat een tweepersoonskamer twee keer zoveel zou hebben gekost.

Yes, last summer in Paris. The reception said a double room would have cost twice as much.

Ik geef de voorkeur aan appartementen voor langere reizen. Een keuken en woonkamer hebben maakt alles comfortabeler.

I prefer apartments for longer trips. Having a kitchen and living room makes everything more comfortable.

Klopt. Het huisje dat we vorig jaar op het platteland huurden had drie slaapkamers en een prachtige tuin.

That's true. The cottage we rented last year in the countryside had three bedrooms and a beautiful garden.

Dat klinkt geweldig. Ik overweeg deze zomer een kleine cabine vlakbij het meer te huren.

That sounds great. I'm considering renting a small cabin near the lake this summer.

Briljant idee. Als ik vrij was, zou ik me bij je voegen voor een weekend.

Natuurlijk moet je komen. De cabine heeft een balkon dat uitkijkt over het water.

Of course you should come. The cabin has a balcony that looks out over the water.

Dat klinkt magisch. Is het flatgebouw waar je naar keek al klaar?

That sounds magical. Is the apartment building you were looking at finished yet?

Bijna. De eetkamer is af, en de tegels voor de badkamer kwamen gisteren aan.

Almost. The dining room is finished, and the tiles for the bathroom arrived yesterday.
