Ben je al naar het nieuwe museum in de stad geweest? De tentoonstelling daar is een van de beste in jaren.

Have you been to the new museum in town yet? The exhibition there is one of the best in years.
Lars
Nog niet. De garage vlakbij mijn huis wordt de hele week gerepareerd, dus ik ben overal heen aan het lopen.

Not yet. The garage near my house is being repaired all week, so I have to walk everywhere.
Anna
Dat moet vermoeiend zijn. Het ziekenhuis vlakbij het station wordt ook gerenoveerd, en het lawaai is constant.

That must be tiring. The hospital near the station is also being renovated, and the noise is constant.

Dat merkte ik. Mijn vriend die werkt op het kantoor aan de overkant heeft erover geklaagd.

I noticed that. My friend who works at the office across the street complained about it.

Briljant. Hij heeft een echt talent voor het combineren van moderne en klassieke stijlen. Elk gebouw dat hij ontwerpt wordt een herkenningspunt.

Klopt. Zelfs het kleine kasteel dat hij restaureerde ziet er geweldig uit. De buitenkant is origineel maar het interieur is volledig modern.

That's right. Even the small castle he restored looks great. The outside is original but the interior is completely modern.

Ik bezoek dit weekend misschien de nieuwe galerie vlakbij het plein. Ze hebben een speciale tentoonstelling van zijn schetsen.

I might visit the new gallery near the square this weekend. They have a special exhibition of his sketches.
Anna
Briljant idee. We zouden daarna in het café binnen kunnen lunchen.

Brilliant idea. We could have lunch inside at the café afterwards.
Lars
Perfect. De cafetaria daar serveert heerlijk eten tegen redelijke prijzen.

Perfect. The cafeteria there serves delicious food at reasonable prices.

Dan is het beslist. Zaterdag om twaalf uur 's middags?
