Story

Una tarde tranquila en casa

1. En el salón de su piso, junto a la ventana, la familia se sienta en el sofá.

   In the living room of their apartment, by the window, the family sits on the sofa.

2. Hugo quiere ayudar y tener una tarde tranquila con sus padres.

   Hugo wants to help and have a quiet afternoon with his parents.

3. Carlos dice que primero van a ordenar un poco.

   Carlos says they'll tidy up a little first.

4. Por la mañana, desde el sofá, han ido de compras por internet y han visto un anuncio en venta de un cepillo de dientes azul.

   In the morning, from the sofa, they shopped online and saw an ad selling a blue toothbrush.

5. Ahora, ha llegado un paquete por correo con el nombre de Hugo.

   Now, a package has arrived in the mail with Hugo's name.

6. Laura sonríe y dice: "Luego lo probamos, pero primero terminamos unas cosas".

   Laura smiles and says, "We'll try it later, but first we'll finish a few things."

7. Carlos pone música suave, y todos escuchan una canción mientras recogen.

   Carlos plays soft music, and everyone listens to a song while they tidy up.

8. Hugo lava los platos con jabón y cuidado en la cocina abierta al salón.

   Hugo washes the dishes with soap and care in the kitchen open to the living room.

9. Luego lleva la basura hasta la puerta para que papá la saque después.

   Then she takes the trash to the door so Dad can take it out later.

10. Cuando todo brilla, quieren sentarse, pero no encuentran el mando de la tele.

    When everything is bright, they want to sit down, but they can't find the TV remote.

11. Carlos hace un juego y le da a Hugo una pista: "Camina recto, sigue recto desde la mesa hasta el sofá".

    Carlos makes a game and gives Hugo a clue: 'Walk straight, keep going straight from the table to the sofa.'

12. Hugo mira debajo del cojín y, riendo, lo encuentra.

    Hugo looks under the cushion and, laughing, finds it.

13. Antes de la película, Hugo abre el paquete y mira su cepillo azul con orgullo.

    Before the movie, Hugo opens the package and looks at his blue brush with pride.

14. Se lavan los dientes rápidamente con el nuevo cepillo y vuelven al sofá; por fin ven la tele juntos.

    They brush their teeth quickly with the new toothbrush and go back to the sofa; at last they watch TV together.

15. La historia es tranquila, y Hugo se siente muy a gusto.

    The story is calm, and Hugo feels very comfortable.

16. Cuando termina, Hugo se tumba en el sofá, se arropa y cierra los ojos.

    When it's over, Hugo lies on the sofa, pulls the blanket over himself and closes his eyes.

17. "Mañana podemos jugar otra vez", susurra, y la casa queda en silencio.

    "Tomorrow we can play again," she whispers, and the house becomes quiet.
