Eine Brise für Lara

1. Es ist früher Abend am See, und Lara ist mit Mama Anna und ihrem Bruder Max im Camp.

   It's early evening at the lake, and Lara is at the camp with Mama Anna and her brother Max.

2. Sie lieben Camping und bleiben drei Nächte am Wasser.

   They love camping and stay three nights by the water.

3. Sie haben ihr Zelt schon aufgebaut.

   They have already set up their tent.

4. Lara schaut auf ihre Surfuhr und lächelt.

   Lara looks at her surf watch and smiles.

5. Sie möchte heute ein kleines Stück selbst Segeln.

   She wants to sail a little by herself today.

6. Bevor sie losgeht, zieht sie ihren Badeanzug an.

   Before she leaves, she puts on her swimsuit.

7. Max fährt schnell zur Mole und winkt; er liebt Radfahren.

   Max rides fast to the pier and waves; he loves cycling.

8. "Wie stark ist der Wind, Mama?" fragt Lara.

   "How strong is the wind, Mom?" asks Lara.

9. Sie warten, weil die Segel sonst nicht gut ziehen.

   They wait because otherwise the sails won't catch well.

10. Um die Zeit zu nutzen, übt Lara Surfen ganz nah am Ufer.

    To pass the time, Lara practices surfing very close to the shore.

11. Das Wasser glitzert, und Max zählt die Enten, während Mama die Leine ordnet.

    The water sparkles, and Max counts the ducks while Mom tidies the leash.

12. Danach gehen sie kurz Schwimmen, und Lara fühlt sich mutig.

18. Sie kuscheln sich ins Zelt und hören das sanfte Plätschern, bis die Sterne kommen.
