Regenwald am Fenster

1. Draußen regnet es, und Ben schaut aus dem Fenster.

   It's raining outside, and Ben looks out the window.

2. Er sagt zu Mia, dass er heute den Regen fühlen und seinen Regenmantel testen will.

   He tells Mia that today he wants to feel the rain and test his raincoat.

3. Mia zieht den Vorhang ein Stück zur Seite und macht das Fenster ein bisschen auf.

   Mia pulls the curtain a little to the side and opens the window a bit.

4. Sie lächelt und meint, sie bauen ihren eigenen kleinen Regenwald im Wohnzimmer.

   She smiles and says they're building their own little rainforest in the living room.

5. Ben zieht seinen gelben Regenmantel an und sucht den rechten Handschuh, den er immer verlegt.

   Ben puts on his yellow raincoat and looks for the right glove he always loses.

6. Er findet ihn hinter dem Sofa und ruft fröhlich: Hier ist er.

   He finds it behind the sofa and happily calls out, "Here it is."

7. Mia gibt ihm den Regenschirm und richtet ihm liebevoll die Kapuze.

   Mia gives him the umbrella and gently fixes his hood for him.

8. Mama stellt eine grüne Pflanze neben das Fenster und sagt, das ist unser Dschungelbaum.

9. Plötzlich rollt ein lautes Gewitter über die Dächer und das Licht flackert kurz.

   Suddenly a loud thunderstorm rolls over the roofs and the light flickers for a moment.

10. Ben zuckt zusammen, aber Mama nimmt seine Hand und sagt ruhig, wir gehen jetzt nicht auf den Balkon, weil es draußen blitzt und donnert.

    Ben flinches, but Mom takes his hand and says calmly we won't go out on the balcony now because it's lightning and thundering outside.

11. Ein paar Tropfen wehen durch den Spalt herein, und Ben holt schnell ein Handtuch und tupft das Wasser weg.

    A few drops blow in through the gap, and Ben quickly gets a towel and pats the water away.

12. Dann hält er den Schirm über die Pflanze, und der Regen trommelt darauf wie auf eine kleine Trommel.

    Then he holds the umbrella over the plant and the rain drums on it like a little drum.

13. Sie hören das Rascheln vom Vorhang und das leise Klopfen der Tropfen, und Ben atmet langsam ein und aus.

    They hear the rustle of the curtain and the soft tapping of the drops, and Ben breathes slowly in and out.

14. Er flüstert, dass ihr Wohnzimmer jetzt wirklich wie ein Regenwald klingt, und Mia nickt.

    He whispers that their living room really sounds like a rainforest now, and Mia nods.

15. Mama legt ihnen eine weiche Decke über die Schultern, und Ben legt den nassen Schirm auf die Matte und hängt die Handschuhe ans Fensterbrett zum Trocknen auf.

    Mom puts a soft blanket over their shoulders, and Ben puts the wet umbrella on the mat and hangs the gloves on the windowsill to dry.

16. Draußen wird der Regen ruhiger, und drinnen fühlt sich Ben sicher und warm.

    The rain outside is calming down, and inside Ben feels safe and warm.

17. Er lehnt sich an Mia und schließt die Augen, während Mama eine leise Geschichte über Tiere im Wald erzählt.
