Le coin doux de Jade

1. Dans l'appartement de Jade, c'est le soir et elle veut rendre sa chambre jolie pour dormir.

   In Jade's apartment, it's evening and she wants to make her room nice for sleeping.

2. Maman et Jade allument la lampe près du lit, et la radio chante très bas.

   Mum and Jade turn on the lamp by the bed, and the radio plays very softly.

3. Sur le mur, Jade veut accrocher un poster de la mer au mur.

   On the wall, Jade wants to hang a poster of the sea.

4. Elle prend du ruban, ouvre la porte, et regarde le hall calme.

   She takes some ribbon, opens the door, and looks at the quiet hallway.

5. Mais le poster glisse et tombe sur le sol, et Jade se cogne un peu le bras.

   But the poster slips and falls to the floor, and Jade bumps her arm a little.

6. Maman sourit et dit que tout va bien, on va faire simple.

   Mom smiles and says everything is fine, we'll keep it simple.

   She puts a small, light board against the wall, and the poster stays in place.
