View translation pageEmma’s Avondplan
De woonkamer is warm en rustig.
The living room is warm and peaceful.
It's after dinner, and Emma wants to watch her short dance video with her dad Mark.
She taps the open button on the tablet, and the music app appears.
Emma drukt op start, en ze glimlacht.
Emma presses start, and she smiles.
A 'run' button is also blinking, but the video does not play.
"Kunnen we nu kijken?" vraagt ze.
"Can we look now?" she asks.
Mark zegt: "We drukken op try-again."
Mark says, 'We press try-again.'
It still doesn't work, but we wait a moment and choose 'try again later.'
They drink tea and talk quietly, because routine is nice and being flexible is okay too.
In de woonkamer zegt de app zacht: "stand still," en Emma staat rechtop en ademt diep.
In the living room the app says softly, "stand still," and Emma stands up and breathes deeply.
On the screen Emma sees an 'ask' button with a small question mark.
She stretches her arms and does a gentle little dance step without a picture.
After the tea they open the app again, and Emma chooses watch.
The video is starting now; she taps pause for a moment to laugh with Mark.
Then she lets it continue and at the end she presses the stop button.
The switch for looping is off, because once is enough.
Emma taps "close", and she picks up her book.
"That was our plan, but it's different," says Mark, "and that's okay," and Emma nods sleepily.
Ze stopt, maar probeert opnieuw.
