I have just cleaned the bedroom. It took the whole afternoon but it looks fantastic now.

This is the apartment that was built last year. The bathroom is enormous and very modern.

هذه الشقة بُنيت العام الماضي. الحمام ضخم جدًا وحديث جدًا.

Have you ever stayed in a single room at a hotel? They are usually quite small.

هل أقمت يوماً في غرفة فردية في فندق؟ عادةً ما تكون صغيرة جداً.

Yes, last summer in Paris. The reception said a double room would have cost twice as much.

I prefer apartments for longer trips. Having a kitchen and living room makes everything more comfortable.

True. The cottage we rented in the countryside last year had three bedrooms and a beautiful garden.

صحيح. الكوخ الذي استأجرناه في الريف العام الماضي كان فيه ثلاث غرف نوم وحديقة جميلة.

That sounds wonderful. I have been considering renting a small cabin near the lake this summer.

Brilliant idea. If I were free, I would join you for a weekend.

Of course you should come. The cabin has a balcony that looks out over the water.

That sounds magical. Has the apartment block you were looking at been completed yet?

Almost. The dining room is finished, and the bathroom tiles arrived yesterday.

Excellent. I cannot wait to see the finished result.
