   Als de acteur meer had gerepeteerd, zou hij beter hebben opgetreden. Het publiek merkte zijn nervositeit.

   If the actor had rehearsed more, he would have performed better. The audience noticed his nervousness.

   Klopt. De atleet trainde de hele zomer voor het kampioenschap. Zijn toewijding heeft volledig geloond.

   That's true. The athlete trained all summer for the championship. His dedication paid off completely.

   Ik zag hem de race winnen op televisie. De hele menigte juichte toen hij de finishlijn over kwam.

   I saw him win the race on TV. The whole crowd cheered when he crossed the finish line.

   Zijn coach zei in een interview dat talent minder belangrijk is dan oefening. Echte kampioenen trainen dagelijks.

   His coach said in an interview that talent is less important than practice. Real champions train every day.

6. Anna
   Dat geldt voor elke uitvoering. Of het nu sport of kunst is, discipline is essentieel.

   That applies to every performance. Whether it's sport or art, discipline is essential.

7. Lars
   Ik overweeg om bij een gymnastiekles te gaan. Het zou goede beweging en leuk zijn.

   I'm considering going to a gym class. It would be good exercise and fun.

8. Anna
   Doen! De nieuwe instructeur in het sportcentrum is uitstekend met beginners.

   Do it! The new instructor at the sports center is great with beginners.

9. Lars
   Briljant. Ben je al in het nieuwe stadion geweest? Het is enorm en heel modern.

   Brilliant. Have you been to the new stadium yet? It's huge and very modern.

10. Anna
    Een keer, voor een concert. Het orkest klonk fantastisch in die ruimte.

    Once, before a concert. The orchestra sounded fantastic in that hall.

11. Lars
    Ik boek misschien tickets voor het volgende sportevenement daar. Live competitie kijken is altijd opwindend.

    I might book tickets for the next sporting event there. Watching live competition is always exciting.

12. Anna
    Zeker. Echte uitvoeringen kunnen niet worden vervangen door televisie.

    Yes. Live performances can't be replaced by television.
