Story

Salonda Sakin Akşam

1. Akşam yağmur yağar ve Ali, annesi Ayşe ile kardeşi Eda salondadır.

   It rains in the evening, and Ali is in the living room with his mother Ayşe and his sister Eda.

2. Salonda yumuşak bir halı var.

   There is a soft rug in the living room.

3. Ali bugün evde sakin olmak ister.

   Ali wants to stay at home quietly today.

4. Ali, raflardan resimli bir kitap seçer ve okumak ister.

   Ali picks a picture book from the shelves and wants to read it.

5. Kanepeye oturur ve kitabı yavaşça okuyor.

   They sit on the sofa and read the book slowly.

6. Eda yanına sokulur ve resimlere bakar.

   Eda moves closer and looks at the pictures.

7. Biraz sonra Ali, 'Kısa bir çizgi film izlemek ister misiniz?' diye sorar.

   A little later Ali asks, "Would you like to watch a short cartoon?"

8. Ama kumanda burada değil.

   But the remote isn't here.

9. Ali hemen koşmak ister ama Ayşe gülümser ve, 'Yavaş ol.' der.

   Ali wants to run right away, but Ayşe smiles and says, 'Slow down.'

10. Ayşe, 'Önce koltuğun altına bak.' der.

    Ayşe says, 'Look under the couch first.'

11. Ali ve Eda dikkatle bakar ve kumandayı kitabın altında bulur.

    Ali and Eda look carefully and find the remote under the book.

12. Herkes kanepeye geçer ve küçük bir bölüm izler.

    Everyone moves to the couch and watches a short episode.

13. Sonra ekran kapanır ve Ali yastıkları dizer; yastık treni yaparlar.

    Then the screen turns off and Ali lines up the cushions; they make a cushion train.

14. Eda, 'Sessizce trene binmek güzel.' der.

    Eda says, 'It's nice to get on the train quietly.'

15. Çocuklar halı üzerinde yavaşça sallanır ve gülümser.

    The children swing slowly on the rug and smile.

16. Ayşe ışığı kısar ve, 'Şimdi biraz daha okuyalım.' der.

    Ayşe dims the light and says, 'Now let's read a little more.'

17. Ali kitabı açar ve birlikte birkaç sayfa okurlar.

    Ali opens the book and they read a few pages together.

18. Eda esner, yağmur sesi gelir, salon sakindir ve herkes mutludur.

    Eda yawns, rain can be heard, the living room is calm, and everyone is happy.
