Story

Defne’nin Nazik Akşamı

1. Akşam, Defne evlerinin oturma odasında annesi Ayşe ile oturuyor.

   In the evening, Defne sits in her family's living room with her mother Ayşe.

2. Defne gülümser ve bugün nazik İngilizce sözler çalışmak ister.

   Defne smiles and wants to practice polite English words today.

3. Kapı çalar ve komşuları Ali içeri gelir; Ayşe kapıyı açar ve 'welcome' der.

   The doorbell rings and their neighbor Ali comes in; Ayşe opens the door and says "welcome".

4. Defne el sallar ve 'hi' der.

   Defne waves and says 'hi.'

5. Defne annesine seslenir: 'Bana bir bardak su verir misin,' ve kibarca 'please' der.

   Defne calls to her mother, 'Can you give me a glass of water?' and politely says 'please.'

6. Ayşe tepsiyi getiriyor ve üçü birlikte kanepeye oturuyor.

   Ayşe brings the tray and the three of them sit on the sofa together.
