Buenas noches, reptiles y amigos

  1. Es de noche en el cuarto de Carmen.

    Suddenly, they see a tiger in a photo of the forest, and Carmen frowns.

  14. —¿Es un reptil también? pregunta.

    —Is it a reptile too?" she asks.

  15. No, el tigre es un mamífero, y solo está en la foto dice Ana con calma, aquí estamos seguras.

    —No, the tiger is a mammal, and it's only in the picture," Ana says calmly, "we're safe here.

  16. Cerca de la lámpara, hay una araña muy pequeña, y Carmen la mira sin miedo.

    Near the lamp, there is a very small spider, and Carmen looks at it without fear.

  17. Ana explica que la araña come mosquitos y ayuda en la casa.

    Ana explains that the spider eats mosquitoes and helps around the house.

  18. Carmen cierra el libro, abraza su almohada y dice: buenas noches, lagarto, serpiente, cocodrilo, rana y tigre.

    Carmen closes the book, hugs her pillow and says: good night, lizard, snake, crocodile, frog and tiger.

  19. Apaga la luz y se duerme contenta, soñando con ríos calmos y hojas verdes.

    She turns off the light and falls asleep happily, dreaming of calm rivers and green leaves.
