Buenas noches, soy Diego

  1. En el dormitorio de Diego, es de noche y hay una luz suave.

    In Diego's bedroom it's night and there is a soft light.

  2. Diego dice en voz baja: "Yo soy Diego."

    Diego says quietly: "I am Diego."

  3. Él quiere practicar su información personal para mañana.

    He wants to practice his personal information for tomorrow.

  4. Su mamá, Ana, se sienta a su lado en la cama, y su papá, Luis, sonríe cerca de la puerta.

    Her mom, Ana, sits next to her on the bed, and her dad, Luis, smiles near the door.

  5. Mamá pregunta: "¿Cómo te llamas?"

    Mom asks: "What's your name?"

  6. Diego responde: "Me llamo Diego", y añade: "Tengo seis años."

    Diego answers: "My name is Diego," and adds: "I am six years old."

  7. Diego quiere decir también dónde vive, pero su voz es bajita y mira el suelo.

    Diego also wants to say where he lives, but his voice is very quiet and he looks at the floor.

  8. Ana toma su mano y dice: "Está bien; vamos paso a paso".

    Ana takes his hand and says, "It's okay; we'll go step by step."

  9. Entra su hermana Eva con un osito de peluche y lo pone junto a Diego.

    Her sister Eva enters with a stuffed teddy and puts it next to Diego.

  10. Mamá dice con calma: "Preséntate al osito; él escucha".

    Mom says calmly, "Introduce yourself to the teddy; he listens."

  11. Diego mira al osito y dice: "Yo soy Diego."

    Diego looks at the teddy bear and says: "I am Diego."

  12. "Tengo seis años, y vivo en esta casa con mi familia."

    "I'm six years old, and I live in this house with my family."

  13. "Mi mamá se llama Ana y mi papá se llama Luis."

    "My mom's name is Ana and my dad's name is Luis."

  14. Papá sonríe, Eva aplaude suave, y Diego bosteza, se acuesta y cierra los ojos, tranquilo.

    Dad smiles, Eva claps softly, and Diego yawns, lies down and closes his eyes, calm.
