Mateo cuenta para dormir

1. Es de noche en el cuarto de Mateo, y él quiere dormir.

   It's night in Mateo's room, and he wants to sleep.

2. Mateo tiene una manta con puntos, y decide contarlos.

   Mateo has a blanket with dots, and he decides to count them.

3. Mateo se sienta en la cama con su hermana Ana.

   Mateo sits on the bed with his sister Ana.

4. Ana dice: Empecemos en cero.

   Ana says: Let's start at zero.

5. En el techo de su cuarto hay siete estrellas que brillan.

   On her room's ceiling there are seven shining stars.

6. Mateo cuenta los puntos suaves de la manta: uno, dos... y llega a veinte.

   Mateo counts the soft dots on the blanket: one, two... and reaches twenty.

7. Sigue y alcanza treinta, pero se confunde y pierde la cuenta.

   He keeps going and reaches thirty, but he gets confused and loses count.

8. Ana sonríe y dice: No pasa nada, vamos a hacer grupos de diez y a mirar el póster de números hasta cien.

   Ana smiles and says, "It's okay, let's make groups of ten and look at the number poster up to one hundred."

9. Con su dedo, Mateo salta de diez en diez: veinte, treinta, cuarenta, cincuenta, sesenta, setenta, ochenta, noventa, cien.
