Le défilé du soir d’Adam

  1. Le soir, Adam joue calmement dans le salon de l’appartement, avec son pyjama bleu.

    In the evening, Adam plays quietly in the apartment living room, wearing his blue pajamas.

  2. Il dit: "On va faire un petit défilé de famille".

    He says, 'We'll do a little family parade.'

  3. Dans une boîte, il y a des crayons et du papier pour faire des étiquettes.

    In a box there are pencils and paper to make labels.

  4. Papa sourit; Papa est un homme courageux.

    Dad smiles; he is a brave man.

  5. Maman prend une chaise et rit; Maman est une femme douce.

    Mom takes a chair and laughs; she's a gentle woman.

  6. Adam lève la main et dit: "Je suis un garçon, et Léa est ma sœur."

    Adam raises his hand and says, "I am a boy, and Léa is my sister."

  7. Léa fait une petite révérence: "Je suis une fille", dit-elle avec fierté.

    Léa makes a small bow: 'I am a girl,' she says proudly.

  8. Dans ses bras, Maman tient Emma; c’est un bébé très calme.

    In her arms, Mom holds Emma; she is a very calm baby.

  9. Adam colle un dessin au mur pour notre défilé.

    Adam sticks a drawing on the wall for our parade.

  10. Soudain, Emma pleure un peu, et le salon devient très silencieux.

    Suddenly, Emma cries a little, and the living room goes very quiet.

  11. Papa berce Emma doucement; "Chut, ça va, tu ne pleures pas longtemps," dit-il.

    Dad gently rocks Emma; 'Shh, it's okay, you won't cry for long,' he says.

  12. Ils chantent une berceuse près du canapé, et Emma sourit bientôt.

    They sing a lullaby by the sofa, and Emma soon smiles.

  13. Adam souffle: "Ouf, ça va mieux maintenant; notre défilé continue."

    Adam sighs, "Phew, that's better now; our parade continues."

  14. Il montre son étiquette et dit fièrement: "Je suis aussi un enfant."

    He shows his label and proudly says, "I am a child too."

  16. Adam range les crayons et le papier sur la table basse, et il bâille.

    Adam puts the crayons and paper on the coffee table, and he yawns.

    Mum says, 'That's good, my dear; we'll go to bed right away.'

  18. Dans le calme du salon, Adam ferme les yeux et s’endort heureux.

    In the quiet living room, Adam closes his eyes and falls asleep, happy.
