Le petit livre de Louis

1. Le soir, dans la chambre de Louis, il sourit et pense à sa cousine Lila.

   In the evening, in Louis's room, he smiles and thinks about his cousin Lila.

2. Il dit à Maman: « Je veux faire un petit livre pour Lila. »

   He says to Mom, 'I want to make a little book for Lila.'

3. Maman est fière et dit que c'est une bonne idée.

   Mum is proud and says it's a good idea.

4. Il y a des crayons et du papier sur le tapis.

   There are crayons and paper on the rug.

5. « Nous allons faire un livre tout simple », dit Emma en s'asseyant près de Louis.

6. Louis a une boîte de photos, et il regarde chaque image avec soin.

   Louis has a box of photos, and he looks at each picture carefully.
