Story

Nora’s Gentle Supper

1. It is evening in Nora's small kitchen, and she wants to cook dinner for Mom and her brother Leo.

   المساء في مطبخ نورا الصغير، وهي تريد أن تطبخ العشاء لأمها ولأخوها ليو.

2. She is going to make something warm and gentle.

   ستصنع شيئًا دافئًا ولطيفًا.

3. Mom smiles and says they can eat together soon.

   تبتسم أمي وتقول إنهم يستطيعون أن يأكلوا معًا قريبًا.

4. Leo dances in his pajamas and sets two small spoons on the table.

   يرقص ليو في بيجامته ويضع ملعقتين صغيرتين على الطاولة.

5. Nora opens the cupboard and looks at the basket: there are carrots and potatoes.

   نورا تفتح الخزانة وتنظر إلى السلة: فيها جزر وبطاطس.

6. On the shelf she sees a recipe book with a page for roast chicken and a note about barbecue sauce.
