Story

Sterren bij het raam

1. Het is.

   It is.

2. Sanne zit bij het raam en kijkt naar de.

   Sanne sits by the window and looks outside.

3. Zij fluistert en lacht zacht.

   She whispers and laughs softly.

4. Bram komt erbij, en ze willen samen een spelen.

   Bram comes over, and they want to play together.

5. Maar een glijdt voor de sterren, en het wordt donkerder.

   But one slides in front of the stars, and it gets darker.

6. Er zijn nu maar twee kleine lichtjes te zien.

   Now there are only two small lights to see.

7. We kunnen rustig wachten, zegt Bram.

   We can wait quietly, Bram says.

8. Ze maken van het tellen een klein spel, en de wolk drijft weg.

   They make counting a little game, and the cloud drifts away.

9. Nu is er weer licht; een ster knippert boven het dak.

   Now there is light again; a star twinkles above the roof.

10. Sanne zwaait en fluistert: dag, kleine ster.

    Sanne waves and whispers, 'Bye, little star.'

11. Morgen komt de op, zegt Bram, dus nu slapen wij.

    Tomorrow grandpa is coming, says Bram, so now we sleep.

12. Sanne legt haar hoofd op het kussen en doet haar ogen dicht.

    Sanne rests her head on the pillow and closes her eyes.
