Lotte Leert Rustig

   She wants to finish her homework for tomorrow.

3. Ze kijkt naar haar schrift en ademt diep in.

   She looks at her notebook and takes a deep breath.

4. Haar doel is simpel: rustig leren en straks fijn slapen.

   Her goal is simple: study calmly and sleep well later.

5. Lotte wil goed study voor een kleine quiz op school.

   Lotte wants to study well for a small quiz at school.

6. De quiz gaat over biology en mathematics.

   The quiz is about biology and math.

7. Het lijkt veel, en haar hoofd wordt een beetje moe.

   It seems like a lot, and her head gets a bit tired.

8. Ze fronst even, maar ze wil niet opgeven.

   She frowns for a moment, but she does not want to give up.

9. Mama Sanne komt binnen met thee en een glimlach.

   Mama Sanne comes in with tea and a smile.

10. Samen maken ze een klein plan om te leren.

    Together they make a small plan to learn.

11. Gisteren las Lotte een kort article over een slimme chemist die nieuwe medicine maakt.

    Yesterday Lotte read a short article about a clever chemist who makes new medicines.

20. Mama dooft de lamp, Lotte kruipt onder de deken, en de kamer wordt stil.

    Mama turns off the lamp, Lotte slips under the blanket, and the room becomes quiet.
