Lucas en het groeiboek

1. Het is avond in de woonkamer van Lucas.

   It's evening in Lucas's living room.

2. Lucas wil weten hoe het is om groot te worden.

   Lucas wants to know what it's like to grow up.

3. Hij kijkt naar zijn kleine zus, de baby Mila, die zacht slaapt.

   He looks at his little sister, baby Mila, who is sleeping peacefully.

4. Lucas is een jongen, en hij is nog jong.

   Lucas is a boy, and he is still young.

5. Hij is ook een kind, en hij denkt aan vroeger.

   He is also a child, and he thinks about the past.

6. Op zijn pet staat 'KID', en hij lacht om het woord.

   His cap says 'KID', and he laughs at the word.

7. Mama en papa zitten op de bank, en Emma, een meisje uit de straat, komt op bezoek.

   Mama and Papa sit on the couch, and Emma, a girl from the neighborhood, comes to visit.

8. Lucas wil een klein boek maken over groeien, maar hij kan de fotodoos niet vinden.
