ওয়েটারটি খুব দ্রুত মেনুটি টেবিলে নিয়ে এল। তার বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ আচরণে আমি মুগ্ধ হয়েছিলাম।

Should the chef cook the special dish today? The ingredients looked fresh when I checked earlier.

শেফ কি আজ সেই বিশেষ পদটি রান্না করা উচিত? আমি আগে দেখে নিয়েছিলাম; তখন উপকরণগুলো তাজা দেখাচ্ছিল।

Definitely. The customers love that recipe, and the chef has been preparing it perfectly all week.

নিশ্চয়ই। গ্রাহকরা ওই রেসিপিটা খুব পছন্দ করে, এবং রাঁধুনী পুরো সপ্তাহ জুড়ে তা নিখুঁতভাবে তৈরি করে চলেছেন।

The receptionist is expected to answer the telephone promptly. She was excellent yesterday with the bookings.

আশা করা হয় রিসেপশনিস্ট ফোন দ্রুত উত্তর দেবেন। তিনি গতকাল বুকিংয়ের কাজে খুব ভালো ছিলেন।

I noticed. She also helped a guest who was confused about the room reservation system.

আমি লক্ষ্য করলাম। তিনি কক্ষ রিজার্ভেশন সিস্টেম নিয়ে বিভ্রান্ত একজন অতিথিকে সাহায্যও করেছিলেন।

That is good service. The hotel manager mentioned he wants to hire two more receptionists.

এটা ভালো সেবা। হোটেল ম্যানেজার বলেছিলেন তিনি আরও দুই জন রিসেপশনিস্ট নিয়োগ করতে চান।

The barber downstairs is also looking for an assistant. He has been very busy lately.

তলায় থাকা নাইও একজন সহকারী খুঁজছে। সে সম্প্রতি খুব ব্যস্ত।

I might suggest the position to my cousin. He has been unemployed for several months now.

Brilliant idea. The salesman who works in the gift shop is also leaving next month.

This whole hotel is changing. Even the porter said he might retire soon.

এই পুরো হোটেল বদলাচ্ছে। এমনকি পোর্টারও বলেছিল সে হয়তো শীঘ্রই অবসরে যাবে।

Time moves quickly. The owner should organize a proper farewell for all the long-serving staff.

সময় দ্রুত চলে। মালিককে দীর্ঘদিন কাজ করা সব কর্মীর জন্য একটি যথাযথ বিদায়ের আয়োজন করা উচিত।
