1. Mark
   I will turn on the lights when it gets dark. The new electric system in this house is wonderful.

   অন্ধকার হলে আমি বাতি জ্বালাব। এই বাড়ির নতুন বৈদ্যুতিক ব্যবস্থা দারুণ।

2. Jenny
   If it starts to rain, you should hang up the clothes immediately. They take forever to dry indoors.

   যদি বৃষ্টি শুরু হয়, তখন তোমাকে কাপড়গুলো সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই ঝুলিয়ে দিতে হবে। ঘরের ভেতরে ওগুলো শুকাতে অনেক সময় লাগে।

   You must retire from the game if you feel sick. Health is more important than any competition.

   আপনি অসুস্থ বোধ করলে খেলাটি ছাড়তে হবে। স্বাস্থ্যের তুলনায় কোনো প্রতিযোগিতা বড় নয়।

4. Jenny
   He is right. My uncle had to quit his job last year because of stress. Working too hard damaged his health.

   সে ঠিক। গত বছর আমার চাচাকে স্ট্রেসের কারণে চাকরি ছাড়তে হয়েছিল। খুব বেশি কঠোর পরিশ্রম তার স্বাস্থ্যের ক্ষতি করেছে।

   That is sad. He should have switched off his computer occasionally and taken proper breaks.

   দুঃখজনক। তাকে মাঝে মাঝে কম্পিউটার বন্ধ করে ঠিকমতো বিশ্রাম নেওয়া উচিত ছিল।

6. Jenny
   True. I have been trying to disconnect from work in the evenings. It is harder than I expected.

   হ্যাঁ। আমি সন্ধ্যায় কাজ থেকে নিজেকে আলাদা করার চেষ্টা করছি। এটা ভাবার চেয়ে কঠিন।

7. Mark
   Same here. Even when I switch off my phone, I keep thinking about emails and meetings.

   আমার কথাও। ফোন বন্ধ করলেও আমি ইমেল আর মিটিং নিয়ে ভাবতেই থাকি।

8. Jenny
   That is unhealthy. Maybe we should plan a digital detox weekend together.

   এটা স্বাস্থ্যকর নয়। হয়তো আমরা একসঙ্গে একটা ডিজিটাল ডিটক্স উইকএন্ড পরিকল্পনা করতে পারি।

9. Mark
   Brilliant idea. We could go to a quiet cabin without internet or television.

   দারুণ ভাবনা। আমরা ইন্টারনেট বা টিভি ছাড়া কোনো শান্ত কেবিনে যেতে পারি।

10. Jenny
    Perfect. Just nature, books, and good conversation. No technology for two whole days.

    চমৎকার। কেবল প্রকৃতি, বই আর সুন্দর আলাপ—দুই দিন কোনো প্রযুক্তি থাকবে না।

11. Mark
    I might book somewhere this weekend. The mountain cabins near the lake are usually available.

    এই সপ্তাহান্তে আমি হয়তো কোথাও বুক করব। লেকের কাছে পাহাড়ি কেবিনগুলো সাধারণত ফাঁকা থাকে।

12. Jenny
    Brilliant. Real rest requires real disconnection from modern life.

    দারুণ। আসল বিশ্রামের জন্য আধুনিক জীবনের থেকে সত্যিকারের বিচ্ছিন্নতা দরকার।
