Reading dialog

1. Mark
   She said that she would call back later this evening. I have been waiting for her message all afternoon.

   সে বলেছিল যে এই সন্ধ্যায় পরে আবার ফোন করবে। আমি পুরো বিকেলজুড়ে তার বার্তার জন্য অপেক্ষা করছি।

2. Jenny
   He complained that the advertisement was misleading. The whole article was full of false promises.

   তিনি অভিযোগ করলেন যে বিজ্ঞাপনটি বিভ্রান্তিকর ছিল। পুরো নিবন্ধটি মিথ্যা প্রতিশ্রুতিতে ভরা ছিল।

3. Mark
   Can you dial up the number for the pizza place? I am too tired to look it up myself.

   আপনি কি পিজ্জার দোকানের নম্বর ডায়াল করে দিতে পারেন? আমি খুব ক্লান্ত, নিজে খুঁজে দেখার শক্তি নেই।

4. Jenny
   Of course. I will also mention our usual order so they prepare it quickly.

   অবশ্যই। আমি আমাদের সাধারণ অর্ডারটাও বলব যাতে তারা দ্রুত তা প্রস্তুত করে।

5. Mark
   Brilliant. While you are calling, I will check my email and reply to a few urgent messages.

   দারুণ। তুমি ফোন করো, আমি তখন আমার ইমেল চেক করে কিছু জরুরি মেসেজের উত্তর দেব।

6. Jenny
   She told me that she had received your text message yesterday. Why has she not answered yet?

   সে আমাকে বলেছিল যে সে গতকাল আপনার টেক্সট বার্তাটি পেয়েছিল। সে এখনো কেন উত্তর দেয়নি?

7. Mark
   I have no idea. Maybe her smartphone is broken. She mentioned last week that the screen was cracked.

   আমার কোনো ধারণা নেই। হয়তো তার স্মার্টফোন খারাপ। সে গত সপ্তাহে বলেছিল স্ক্রিন ফাটা ছিল।

8. Jenny
   That would explain it. If she had a working phone, she would definitely respond promptly.

   এটাই ব্যাখ্যা করে। যদি তার কাজ করা ফোন থাকত, সে নিশ্চয়ই দ্রুত জবাব দিত।

9. Mark
   True. I might send her an email instead. Sometimes traditional communication works better.

   হ্যাঁ। আমি হয়ত তার পরিবর্তে ইমেইল করবো। কখনও কখনও প্রচলিত যোগাযোগই ভালো কাজ করে।

10. Jenny
    Smart approach. Have you noticed how much we depend on technology for daily communication?

    ভালো কৌশল। তুমি কি লক্ষ্য করেছ আমরা দৈনন্দিন যোগাযোগে কতটা প্রযুক্তির ওপর নির্ভর করি?

11. Mark
    Constantly. Even ordering food requires an app now. It is amazing and slightly frightening at the same time.

    প্রতিনিয়তই। এমনকি খাবার অর্ডার করাও এখন একটি অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে করতে হয়। এটা অবাক করার মতো এবং একই সঙ্গে একটু ভীতিকর।

    Agreed. Sometimes I miss when we just talked face to face.

    ঠিক আছে। কখনও কখনও আমি মিস করি যখন আমরা শুধু মুখোমুখি বসে কথা বলতাম।
