Reading dialog

1. Mark
   She said that she would call back later this evening. I have been waiting for her message all afternoon.

   قالت إنها ستعاود الاتصال في وقت لاحق هذا المساء. لقد كنت أنتظر رسالتها طوال فترة بعد الظهر.

2. Jenny
   He complained that the advertisement was misleading. The whole article was full of false promises.

   اشتكى من أن الإعلان كان مضللاً. المقال بأكمله كان مليئًا بوعود كاذبة.

3. Mark
   Can you dial up the number for the pizza place? I am too tired to look it up myself.

   هل يمكنك الاتصال بمطعم البيتزا؟ أنا متعب جدًا لأبحث عن الرقم بنفسي.

4. Jenny
   Of course. I will also mention our usual order so they prepare it quickly.

   بالطبع. سأذكر أيضًا طلبنا المعتاد حتى يحضروه بسرعة.

5. Mark
   Brilliant. While you are calling, I will check my email and reply to a few urgent messages.

   رائع. بينما أنت تتصل سأتحقق من بريدي الإلكتروني وأرد على بعض الرسائل العاجلة.

6. Jenny
   She told me that she had received your text message yesterday. Why has she not answered yet?

   I have no idea. Maybe her smartphone is broken. She mentioned last week that the screen was cracked.

8. Jenny
   That would explain it. If she had a working phone, she would definitely respond promptly.

   هذا يفسر الأمر. لو كان لديها هاتف يعمل، لكانت ردت فوراً بالتأكيد.

9. Mark
   True. I might send her an email instead. Sometimes traditional communication works better.

   صحيح. ربما أرسل لها بريدًا إلكترونيًا بدلًا من ذلك. أحيانًا التواصل التقليدي يكون أفضل.

10. Jenny
    Smart approach. Have you noticed how much we depend on technology for daily communication?

11. Mark
    Constantly. Even ordering food requires an app now. It is amazing and slightly frightening at the same time.

    Agreed. Sometimes I miss when we just talked face to face.
