Verhaal

Theo’s Good-Night Wall

1. Theo sits in bed in his cozy room.

   Theo zit in bed in zijn gezellige kamer.

2. He is a boy.

   Hij is een jongen.

3. He is a kid, too.

   Hij is ook een kind.

4. He is sleepy, but he wants to say good night to everyone in his room.

5. It is quiet, and the light is low.

   Het is stil, en het licht is zwak.

6. There are three photos on the wall in the room.

   Er hangen drie foto's aan de muur in de kamer.

7. Theo tries to look at them, but the pictures are dim.

   Theo probeert ze te bekijken, maar de plaatjes zijn vaag.

8. Dad comes in, and Mom comes in, and they turn on a small lamp on the table.

   Papa komt binnen, en mama komt binnen, en ze doen een klein lampje op de tafel aan.

9. Now Theo can see the photos well.

   Nu kan Theo de foto's goed zien.

10. Dad is a kind man, and Mom is a warm woman.

    Papa is een aardige man en mama is een warme vrouw.

11. In the first photo, there is a tiny baby named Lily, sleeping with a blue hat.
