Story

Ece'nin Penceresi ve Yağmur Gecesi

1. Ece, kendi odasında oturur.

   Ece sits in her own room.

2. Bugün pencereden bakmak ister ve sakince nefes alır.

   Today they want to look out the window and breathe quietly.

3. Pencerenin dışında bir dağ var.

   There is a mountain outside the window.

4. Bahçede küçük bir çiçek de görünür.

   There is also a small flower in the garden.

5. Ece, yarın parka otobüsle gideceğiz diye düşünür.

   Ece thinks we will go to the park by bus tomorrow.

6. Ama birden yağmur başlar ve hava serinler.

   But suddenly it starts to rain and the air gets cool.

7. Anne Ayşe, kapı kapalı kalsın, dışarı çıkmayalım, der.

   Mother Ayşe says, "Keep the door closed; let's not go outside."

8. Ece pencereden görebilir; damlalar camda yumuşak sesler yapar.

   Ece can see out the window; the drops make soft sounds on the glass.

9. Ali boyaları getirir, Ece bir dağ ve bir çiçek çizer.

   Ali brings the paints, and Ece draws a mountain and a flower.

10. Ece mutludur, çünkü içerisi sıcaktır ve sakindir.

    Ece is happy because it is warm and quiet inside.

11. Yağmur durunca, yarın kapı açılacak ve onlar parka gidecek.

    When the rain stops tomorrow, the door will open and they will go to the park.

12. Şimdi ise uyku vakti.

    Now it's bedtime.
