Ali'nin İyi Geceler Kartları

1. Akşam, Ali annesi Zeynep ve babası Mehmet ile büyüklerin salonuna geliyor.

   In the evening, Ali goes to the adults' living room with his mother Zeynep and his father Mehmet.

2. Ali'nin dedesi Hasan dede koltukta oturur ve gülümser.

   Grandpa Hasan sits in the armchair and smiles.

3. Ali'nin anneannesi Ayşe nine tepsiyle çay getirir.

   Grandma Ayşe brings tea on a tray.

4. Ali, "Bu akşam bir dileğim var," der.

   Ali says, "I have a wish for tonight."

5. "Size küçük iyi geceler kartları yapmak istiyorum," der ve masaya renkli kalemleri dizer.

   "I want to make small goodnight cards for you," she says and lays out the colored pencils on the table.

6. Ali, kartın birine "Grandma" yazıyor.

   Ali writes "Grandma" on one of the cards.

7. Diğer karta "Grandpa" yazıyor.

   The other card says "Grandpa."

8. Sonra bir kalp çiziyor ve başını gururla sallıyor.

   Then they draw a heart and nod their head proudly.

9. Ama kartlar bir an karışıyor, küçük bir çay damlası düşüyor, harfler biraz bulanık oluyor.

   But the cards get mixed for a moment, a small drop of tea falls, and the letters get a little blurry.

    Ali is surprised and shivers while holding the papers.

11. Ali ağlamıyor, ama içi pıt pıt atıyor.

    Ali is not crying, but his heart is pounding.

12. Hasan dede, "Dur, birlikte düzeltelim," der ve kartına küçük bir şapka resmi çizmeyi gösterir.

    Grandpa Hasan says, "Wait, let's fix it together," and shows how to draw a small hat on his card.
