Story

Defne’nin Aile Oyunu

1. Bu akşam, Defne salonda oturuyor.

   Tonight Defne is sitting in the living room.

2. Burası bizim salonumuz.

   This is our living room.

3. Ben küçük bir oyun hazırlamak istiyorum.

   I want to make a small game.

4. "Ailemi anlatmak istiyorum," diyor Defne.

   Defne says, 'I want to talk about my family.'

5. Annem Elif gülümsüyor.

   My mom Elif smiles.

6. Babam Ahmet başını sallıyor.

   My dad Ahmet is nodding.

7. Erkek kardeşim Efe minderin üstünde bekliyor.

   My brother Efe is waiting on the cushion.

8. Kız kardeşim Zeynep battaniyeyi düzeltiyor.

   My sister Zeynep is fixing the blanket.

9. "Bugün ben öğretmen olayım," der Defne.

   "Let me be the teacher today," says Defne.

10. Ahmet, "Her insan bu oyunda bir rol alır," diye açıklar.

    Ahmet explains, 'Every person plays a role in this game.'

11. Efe de "Ben öğretmen olmak istiyorum," der ve biraz somurtur.

    Efe says, 'I want to be a teacher,' and frowns a little.

12. Defne susar ve Efe'ye bakar.

    Defne is quiet and looks at Efe.

13. Elif, "Önce Defne öğretmen olsun, sonra Efe öğretmen olsun," der.

    Elif says, 'First let Defne be the teacher, then Efe be the teacher.'
