Story

Lucía saluda al cielo

1. En el balcón de su casa, Lucía mira el cielo con su mamá Ana.

   On her home's balcony, Lucía looks at the sky with her mom Ana.

2. Lucía dice: "Hola, cielo", y sonríe.

   Lucia says, "Hi, sweetheart," and smiles.

3. Ella quiere ver la primera estrella y jugar un juego tranquilo antes de dormir.

   She wants to see the first star and play a quiet game before going to sleep.

4. El sol ya no se ve; es tarde y llega la noche.

   The sun can't be seen anymore; it's late and night is coming.

5. Pero hay una nube grande que tapa las estrellas.

   But there's a big cloud covering the stars.

6. Lucía se pone un poco triste y toma la mano de Ana.

   Lucia gets a little sad and takes Ana's hand.

7. Ana dice: "Podemos jugar a contar luces en las ventanas mientras esperamos".

   Ana says, "We can play counting the lights in the windows while we wait."
