La rueda de las estaciones

1. En la sala de su casa, hay una mesa y una ventana grande.

   In the living room of her house, there is a table and a large window.

2. Emma es curiosa y mira el cielo azul oscuro.

   Emma is curious and looks at the dark blue sky.

3. Ella quiere aprender las estaciones: primavera, verano, otoño e invierno.

   She wants to learn the seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

4. Mamá Laura sonríe y saca una rueda de cartón con cuatro colores.

   Mom Laura smiles and takes out a cardboard wheel with four colors.

5. Pero Emma se confunde y mezcla los dibujos de hojas, sol, flores y nieve.

   But Emma gets confused and mixes up the pictures of leaves, sun, flowers and snow.

6. Diego trae pegatinas y mira la ventana con Emma.

   Diego brings stickers and looks at the window with Emma.

7. Afuera hay estrellas y aire frío; Laura dice: "Ahora es invierno".

   Outside there are stars and cold air; Laura says, "Now it's winter."

8. "Pronto será primavera", dice Laura con calma.

   "It will be spring soon," Laura says calmly.

9. Emma pega la nieve junto a invierno, el sol junto a verano, las hojas junto a otoño y las flores junto a primavera.

   Emma sticks the snow by winter, the sun by summer, the leaves by autumn, and the flowers by spring.

10. Ella sonríe, porque ahora la rueda está clara y bonita.

    She smiles, because now the wheel is clear and pretty.

11. La sala está tranquila, y Emma cierra los ojos y sueña con las cuatro estaciones.

    The room is quiet, and Emma closes her eyes and dreams about the four seasons.
