El calendario de Martina

1. En la mesa del comedor de casa, Martina mira un gran calendario y piensa en las compras.

   At the dining table at home, Martina looks at a big calendar and thinks about shopping.

2. Ella dice: "Quiero hacer un plan para toda la familia".

   She says, "I want to make a plan for the whole family."

3. Mamá Ana y su hermano Lucas se sientan con ella y sonríen, porque desean ayudar.

   Mom Ana and her brother Lucas sit with her and smile because they want to help.

4. Martina propone una compra mensual en el supermercado del barrio.

   Martina suggests shopping once a month at the neighborhood supermarket.

5. "Será cada sábado", dice Ana con una sonrisa.

   "It will be every Saturday," says Ana with a smile.

6. "Y a las doce del mediodía, siempre a la misma hora", añade Lucas.

   "And at twelve noon, always at the same time," adds Lucas.

7. En febrero, Martina pega una estrella azul en el calendario.

   In February, Martina sticks a blue star on the calendar.

8. Ella dice: "Ese día vamos a comprar chocolate caliente".

   She says, "That day we will buy hot chocolate."

9. Lucas mira otra hoja y pregunta si septiembre viene antes que febrero, y se ríe de su confusión.
