1. Es ist Abend, und Lara sitzt in ihrem Zimmer.

   It is evening, and Lara is sitting in her room.

2. Tom ist bei ihr, und eine große runde Pappe liegt auf dem Tisch.

   Tom is with her, and a large round piece of cardboard is on the table.

3. Es gibt vier Jahreszeiten, sagt Tom sanft.

   There are four seasons, Tom says softly.

4. Wir haben bunte Bilder für Frühling, Sommer, Herbst und Winter.

   We have colorful pictures for spring, summer, autumn and winter.

5. Lara lernt die Reihenfolge und lächelt.

   Lara learns the order and smiles.

6. Sie denkt an Blumen, Sonne, Blätter und Schnee.

   She thinks of flowers, sun, leaves, and snow.

7. Doch Lara weiß nicht, wo der Winter liegt.

   But Lara doesn't know where winter is.

8. Sie legt Frühling neben Sommer, aber das passt nicht gut.

   She puts spring next to summer, but it doesn't fit well.

9. Tom zeigt leise im Kreis und sagt, erst Frühling, dann Sommer, dann Herbst, dann Winter.

   Tom quietly points in a circle and says, first spring, then summer, then autumn, then winter.

10. Lara nickt und ordnet die Bilder langsam im Kreis.

    Lara nods and arranges the pictures slowly in a circle.

11. Jetzt ist die Jahresuhr fertig, und Lara fühlt sich ruhig.

    Now the year clock is ready, and Lara feels calm.

12. Sie hängt die Pappe an die Wand, Tom deckt sie zu, und Lara träumt vom Jahr.

    She hangs the cardboard on the wall, Tom covers it, and Lara dreams about the year.
