Ein leiser Abend mit Liedern

1. Der Abend ist ruhig im Wohnzimmer.

   The evening is quiet in the living room.

2. Lena sitzt auf dem Teppich mit ihrem Bruder Tom und Mama Anna.

   Lena sits on the carpet with her brother Tom and her mom Anna.

3. "Ich will heute etwas Schönes machen," sagt Lena.

   "I want to do something nice today," Lena says.

4. Sie macht leise Musik an und lächelt.

   She turns on soft music and smiles.

5. "Wir können zusammen ein Lied singen," sagt Mama Anna.

   "We can sing a song together," says Mom Anna.

6. Tom nickt, aber er will erst nur zuhören.

   Tom nods, but he just wants to listen for now.

7. Lena holt ihre kleine Gitarre und summt die erste Melodie.

   Lena takes out her little guitar and hums the first tune.

8. Sie spielt ganz leise, damit Tom mutig wird.

   She plays very quietly so Tom can be brave.

9. Doch Tom vergisst die Worte und kichert.

   But Tom forgets the words and giggles.

10. "Kein Problem, wir machen ein Spiel mit Tönen," sagt Mama Anna sanft.

    "No problem, we'll play a game with sounds," Mama Anna says gently.

11. Mama Anna klatscht einmal, und Lena singt das Wort "Mond".

    Mama Anna claps once, and Lena sings the word "moon."

12. Tom hört zu und zeigt auf das Fenster, dann lacht er.

    Tom listens and points at the window, then he laughs.

13. Bei zwei Klatschen darf Tom ein neues Wort wählen, und alle machen mit.

    After two claps Tom can choose a new word, and everyone joins in.

14. Jetzt traut Tom sich und singt mit leiser Stimme die Strophe.

    Now Tom finds the courage and sings the verse in a quiet voice.

15. Die Familie singt zusammen das ganze Lied, und die Musik bleibt ganz sanft.

    The family sings the whole song together, and the music stays very soft.
