Lena hört gut zu

1. Im Klassenzimmer von Frau Müller ist es ruhig und hell.

   In Ms. Müller's classroom it is quiet and bright.

2. Lena flüstert: Ich will heute gut zuhören.

   Lena whispers, 'I want to listen well today.'

3. Sie sitzt still auf ihrem Stuhl.

   She sits quietly in her chair.

4. Sie schaut die Lehrerin Frau Müller an, und sie lächelt.

   She looks at the teacher, Mrs. Müller, and she smiles.

5. Frau Müller sagt freundlich, wir lesen die Wörter an der Tafel.

   Mrs. Müller says kindly, 'Let's read the words on the board.'

6. Auf der Tafel steht eine kleine Geschichte über Bienen, die in einem Garten leben.

   On the board there is a small story about bees that live in a garden.

7. Doch der Regen klopft ans Fenster, und ein Stuhl quietscht, und Tim lässt seine Stifte fallen.

   But the rain taps on the window, and a chair squeaks, and Tim drops his pens.

8. Lena wird kurz abgelenkt, aber sie atmet leise ein und aus.

   Lena is briefly distracted, but she breathes in and out quietly.

9. Dann denkt sie, ich kann ruhig wieder zum Unterricht zurückkommen.

   Then she thinks, I can calmly go back to class.

10. Sie schaut wieder auf die Wörter und hört Frau Müller klar zu.

    She looks back at the words and listens closely to Mrs. Müller.

11. Tim flüstert, ich finde die Aufgabe schwer.

    Tim whispers, 'I find the task hard.'

12. Lena nickt und zeigt mit dem Finger auf ein Wort.

    Lena nods and points to a word with her finger.

13. Sie sagt leise, wir lesen dieses Wort so, und wir trennen die Silben langsam.

    She says quietly, 'We read this word like this, and we split the syllables slowly.'

14. Tim hört zu und spricht das Wort nach, ganz ruhig.

    Tim listens and repeats the word, very quietly.

15. Frau Müller freut sich und sagt, ihr zwei arbeitet gut zusammen.

    Mrs. Müller is happy and says, "You two work well together."

16. Am Ende der Stunde schaffen alle die kleine Aufgabe, und das Klassenzimmer bleibt still und warm.
