Le ruban du but

  1. Après la classe, Manon attend ses amis dans la cour de l'école.

    After class, Manon waits for her friends in the schoolyard.

  2. Elle veut organiser une petite course pour demain.

    She wants to organize a small race for tomorrow.

  3. Lucas et Léa arrivent avec un grand cerceau et des ballons de mousse.

    Lucas and Léa arrive with a big hoop and foam balloons.

  4. Manon sourit: "On prépare deux parcours, débutant et avancé."

    Manon smiles: 'We're preparing two routes, beginner and advanced.'

  5. "Je suis rapide", dit Léa, "je peux tester."

    "I'm fast," Léa said, "I can try."

  6. Lucas soulève un sac lourd et dit: "Je suis prêt."

    Lucas lifts a heavy bag and says, 'I'm ready.'

  7. Mais le soleil est déjà chaud, et le ruban doit aller très haut sur la barre du but.

    But the sun is already warm, and the ribbon has to go very high on the goal crossbar.

  8. "La petite échelle que nous attendons est en retard", explique Manon.

    "The small ladder we're waiting for is late," Manon explains.

  9. Sans échelle, accrocher le ruban est difficile.

    Without a ladder, hanging the ribbon is difficult.

  10. "On va trouver une autre idée", dit Manon.

    "We'll find another idea," Manon said.

  11. Lucas est très fort et tient le cerceau bien droit.

    Lucas is very strong and holds the hoop upright.

  12. Manon attache le ruban à un ballon de mousse pour le lancer au-dessus de la barre.

    Manon ties the ribbon to a foam ball to throw it over the bar.

  13. Le ballon part, mais il retombe à côté.

    The ball goes off, but it falls down nearby.

  14. "Encore, parce que on peut mieux viser ensemble", dit Léa.

    "Again, because we can aim better together," Léa said.

  15. Cette fois, Lucas lève le cerceau plus haut, et Manon lance doucement.

    This time, Lucas lifts the hoop higher, and Manon throws gently.

  16. Le ballon passe, le ruban glisse sur la barre, et il danse au vent.

    The ball passes, the ribbon slides over the bar, and it dances in the wind.

  17. La petite course est prête, et les trois amis soufflent, contents et fiers.

    The little race is ready, and the three friends sigh, happy and proud.

  18. Ils boivent de l'eau à l'ombre et écoutent la cour devenir calme avant de rentrer.

    They drink water in the shade and listen to the yard become quiet before going back home.
