Lotte leert een verhaaltje

  1. Het is avond in Lottes slaapkamer.

    It's evening in Lotte's bedroom.

  2. Ik wil een klein verhaaltje vertellen, zegt Lotte zacht.

    I want to tell a little story, says Lotte softly.

  3. Mama Sara zit naast het bed en glimlacht.

    Mama Sara sits next to the bed and smiles.

  4. Lotte begint te praten, maar ze denkt na en stopt even.

    Lotte starts to speak, but she thinks and stops for a moment.

  5. Wat is het woord?’, fluistert ze.

    "What's the word?" she whispers.

  6. Lotte vraagt zacht: Mama, kun je me helpen?’

    Lotte asks softly, 'Mom, can you help me?'

  7. Mama spreekt het moeilijke woord langzaam uit, en Lotte luistert goed.

    Mom says the difficult word slowly, and Lotte listens carefully.

  8. Mama wijst naar het boek en zegt: Re-gen-boog.

    Mom points to the book and says, 'rain-bow'.

  9. Lotte herhaalt het, en ze leert het woord nu.

    Lotte repeats it, and now she learns the word.

  10. Ze spreekt nu rustig verder en vertelt haar verhaal aan Mama.

    She now continues speaking calmly and tells her story to Mom.

  11. Mama lacht en zegt: Goed zo, Lotte.

    Mom laughs and says, "Well done, Lotte."

  12. Het is stil, en Lotte doet haar ogen dicht en slaapt.

    It is quiet, and Lotte closes her eyes and falls asleep.
